1. Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using Tripora, you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the app.

These Terms apply together with Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) for apps downloaded from the App Store. If there is a conflict regarding the app binary, Apple's EULA controls.

2. About Tripora

Tripora helps you discover places near your current location. Features include place discovery, maps, saved collections, Stories, AI-generated summaries, and sharing.

Tripora is provided for personal, non-commercial use unless we give you written permission otherwise.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Tripora. If you are under 18, you should use the app with a parent or guardian's permission.

4. Accounts

4.1 Anonymous Account

Tripora automatically creates an anonymous account so your data can be stored and synced. You do not need a password for this account.

4.2 Profile (Optional)

To save places in collections or publish Stories, you may be asked to provide a username and email address. You agree that:

Your username and email are accurate to the best of your knowledge
You will not impersonate another person
You are responsible for activity under your account

We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms.

5. User Content

5.1 What You Can Create

You may create and share:

Collections of saved places
Stories based on your collections
Captions and other text you add

You retain ownership of content you create.

5.2 License You Grant Us

By saving content in Tripora or publishing Stories, you grant Pavel Batashou a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate Tripora — including showing your Stories to other users and sharing collections via links you generate.

This license ends when your content is deleted, except for reasonable backup retention periods.

5.3 Your Responsibilities

You agree not to post or share content that:

Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, or discriminatory
Infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy rights
Contains spam, malware, or misleading information
Impersonates another person or misrepresents your affiliation

You are solely responsible for content you publish.

5.4 Stories and Collections Visibility

Stories are visible to other Tripora users and expire automatically after 7 days.
Collections shared via link are accessible to anyone with that link.
Do not share content you do not want others to see.

We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice.

6. AI Mode

Tripora includes an AI Mode feature that generates summaries and recommendations using third-party AI services (currently DeepSeek).

You understand and agree that:

AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated
AI suggestions are not professional travel, safety, or legal advice
You should verify important information (hours, access, safety, fees) independently
AI Mode has daily usage limits that may change

Use AI Mode at your own discretion.

7. Third-Party Content and Services

Tripora displays information from third-party sources, including Wikipedia/Wikimedia, map providers, and public media. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of third-party content.

When you open external links (Google Maps, Yandex Maps, Wikipedia, YouTube, etc.), you are subject to those services' terms and policies.

Tripora is not affiliated with or endorsed by Wikipedia, Google, Yandex, DeepSeek, or YouTube unless explicitly stated.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use Tripora for unlawful purposes
Attempt to access other users' private data without authorization
Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the app's servers or APIs
Circumvent usage limits or security measures
Use automated tools to overload our systems
Copy, modify, or redistribute the app or its source code except as allowed by law or Apple's EULA

9. Intellectual Property

Tripora, its design, branding, and original code are owned by Pavel Batashou or licensed to him. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the app.

Place descriptions, images, and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners and are used under applicable licenses (for example, Creative Commons for Wikimedia content).

10. Privacy

Your use of Tripora is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use data. By using the app, you agree to the Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers

Tripora is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

The app will be uninterrupted or error-free
Place information will always be accurate or up to date
Routes, distances, or travel times will be exact
Saved data will never be lost (though we use reasonable measures to prevent loss)

Travel and exploration involve real-world risks. You are responsible for your own safety, obeying local laws, and making your own decisions about where to go.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pavel Batashou shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Tripora.

Our total liability for any claim related to Tripora shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim (or zero if the app was free).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Tripora at any time if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service.

You may stop using Tripora at any time. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email developer@zinno.app.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and intellectual property) will survive.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use of Tripora after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Material changes may also be communicated in the app or on www.tripora.info where appropriate.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the developer's place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.
